Michaela Joffe is an artist and writer from Seattle, Washington. Her artwork has appeared on such diverse projects as escape rooms, candy bar wrappers, video games, classroom materials, interactive children's books and zines.

Her writing on art and ecology has appeared at Zam, ZEAL, Critical Distance and re/Action. She has also written two children's books published for iOS by Famloop.

Benthic Love (2013) The critically acclaimed marine biology dating sim. Lead designer and writer.

The Handsomest Echidna (2013) Interactive children's story and game about endangered and unique animals. Lead designer, writer and animator. Praised by the Zoological Society of London's Edge of Existence Progamme.

Eft to Newt (2014) Interactive fiction made in Twine. Lead designer and writer. Featured in Instar Book's Lambda-nominated anthology Videogames for Humans (2015).

Dream of an Acacia Tree (2015) Interactive fiction about magical realism botany. Lead designer, writer and artist. Featured at the Alternative Digital Art Festival (Olympia, WA 2015).

Post-Apocalyptic Punk Mermaids (2019) Tabletop roleplaying game set to release in 2019 by Clione Games. Lead designer and writer.
